I'm so excited to announce that I have several events to be added to your calendars!

March 6th at the Red Cross in Fredericksburg we have the Veranda Workshop. Please see the blog post further down for the product flyer and details.

April 17th-from 1p-7p at the Fredericksburg Red Cross - Free All Day Crop! Please register with me so that we have the right amount of tables and chairs set up and you receive all emails and updates.

May 1st- from 1p-4pm at the Fredericksburg Red Cross- Summer 2010 Catalog Debut Open House! Come out and check out the new Summer catalog and get your hands on some of the newest products from Close to My Heart. Drawings and door prizes will be available.

Make sure you mark your calendars and plan to be at these events! I am also planning a HUGE Scrap-a-Fair in Sept. to take the place of the Retreat. So, check back for more details on that!

Sad to announce!

I'm sad to say that I didn't receive enough participants to have our Retreat in September. I will be planning another one  for Spring 2011.

Almost here!

The deadline for the September Retreat is almost here. If you haven't already signed up and paid your deposit you need to have it in by Friday the 12th. I only have 5 spaces left. If these don't get filled we wont be able to have our retreat  :( So to make sure we go, talk to your friends and family and see if they are interested! “Hearts for Haiti” Campaign is our February Constant Campaign

Our hearts go out to the victims of the earthquake in Haiti, and like so many of you, we’re eager to help. We’re excited to announce Close To My Heart’s February Constant Campaign, Hearts for Haiti—where customers can get a great deal while doing great good for those affected by the devastation in Haiti.

From February 1-28, 2010, our 12” x 12” textured cardstock combo packs are buy one, get one FREE—and with every offer purchased, Close To My Heart will donate $2 US to Operation Smile’s Haiti relief efforts.

Operation Smile is always a fantastic charitable partner—offering free facial reconstruction surgeries to needy children throughout the world. They’ve currently marshaled their medical teams and resources to provide emergency relief in Haiti, and the donations given as part of Hearts for Haiti will be used exclusively for Operation Smile’s efforts in Haiti. Deadlines!

I am hosting a Scrapbooking Layout workshop using Veranda on March 6th here in Fredericksburg. I need prepayment for your kit no later than Feb 19th. Please check out the entry about the workshop to see the supplies that are in the kit and level of kit you would like to purchase (click the link to see the flyer).

For the Retreat- I need to have your info and deposit ($50) no later than Feb 12th. We need 15 people to make this happen so if you have family or friends that would be interested please let them know. If you have any questions please email me.

Scrapbooking Retreat!

I have been in the process of planning a 3day weekend Scrapbooking retreat September 17th-19th, 2010. Here are a few of the details. Location will be in Fairfield, Pennsylvania and will be all inclusive. You only have to plan your transportation up there and back. I have to have a minimum of 15 people to make this happen. If you have friends or family members that would be interested in this trip please refer them to my blog, website or have them email me for info and to pre-register. The total cost per person will be $105 (including lodging -Fri and Sat night- and meals- Sat all meals and Sun breakfast and lunch). Half is due upfront by Feb 12th to hold our space and half will be due 3 weeks before the retreat. If I have more than 15 people I will create a waiting list and if anyone has to back out the waitlist (first come, first serve) will be contacted. Hope you'll join me! Happy Scrapping!

March 6th Workshop!

 
Using the Veranda paper packet we're going to have a workshop! Join us on March 6th, from 1pm to 3pm in Fredericksburg, VA at the American Red Cross building for a couple hours of scrapping.
